Hagerty Peterson & Company, LLC ("Hagerty Peterson") is a merchant bank and private equity firm that selectively invests in and actively helps grow businesses that provide technology-driven services to commercial clients.  Industries served by the firm include Business Process Outsourcing (“BPO”), Healthcare, Information Services, Entertainment and Media. The firm leverages its transaction processing and technical knowledge, functional expertise, and its domestic and international relationships to create substantial value in the businesses in which it invests its time, energy and capital.

William F. Hagerty and David J. Peterson founded the firm to capitalize on converging trends that are substantially changing the way existing businesses operate and creating new businesses.  Declining barriers to international markets, labor, technologies and outsourced business processes enabled by increasing and continually more affordable computing power and connectivity are at the core of these opportunities. A fundamental element of Hagerty Peterson's strategy is to invest in businesses it believes are well positioned to benefit from these converging trends.

The firm's value creation efforts begin with a proprietary process that evaluates and refines the strategic plan. Ultimately, the firm helps devise tactical plans to support the strategy and then actively participates in the execution of the strategy, generally at the executive management and board levels. The firm strives to optimize operating and financial leverage with the ultimate goal of maximizing equity value.
